Go this ugly stik elite in the mail. When i took it out of the box some of the eyelets were bent from shipping and the bottom ones were all at slightly different angles. Does anyone know if these rods are designed to sit at a slight angle like this or if they are suppose to be 90 degrees from the rod. All of other rods have the eyelets sit at 90 degrees so I’m not sure if these are just bent like that from shipping or if it’s a design feature. If anyone else has the same rod and knows the answer it will be much appreciated.

Ugly Stik eyelets should always point upwards (towards the sky) on a spinning rod, with the line running over the top of the eyelet, allowing for smooth casting and retrieval, especially since they often have delicate ceramic inserts that can break if the line catches the wrong way, so ensure they are perfectly aligned with the rod blank and the reel.
Here’s the breakdown : Found online.
