So for the past while my Abu Garcia revo sx has been doing this weird thing: when I’m actively reeling if I let go of the handle, it’ll start spinning backwards (as shown in the video). It’s strange because the anti reverse is fine apart from that, the handle only turns forwards. Can anyone offer some insight in how to fix this? It’s very frustrating and has caused me to lose several big fish. Imagine you’re reeling and feel a bite, so you let go of the handle and set the hook but instead your reel spins backwards, giving you a backlash and losing the fish.
