  1. Can’t really see the body but if they have a egg spot with a little fin looking thing sticking out the middle it’s a female, if not male, I thought my girl was a male at first as she was very big, she is also not afraid to flare her little beard

  2. even though i dont see an egg spot males can have false egg spots meaning even with one thats not a 100% concrete sign, so lets look at the other signs too. those ventral fins are LONG, and even though they are nice and thick, they are not quite rounded in a way that says female to me since they still come down into that nice point and dont bow out so much around the sides. also the shape of the body being tall, with a big curvy back is a more male trait. females are more likely to have a more smooth back. looking at the anal fin, it extends down past the lowest point of the tail, which is also more male-leaning. females anal fins will usually be around the same length or shorter than the lowest point of the tail. that flare also shows a pretty decent beard out the bottom. females can have big beards too, but the beard on top of all the other stuff says this is a male fs 🙂
