Im currently cycling a tank for tetras , 1 betta , shrimp and i was wondering which one would be best? i bought both so if one isnt the best ill just use it for a hospital tank just incase
(picture #3 is already in the cycling tank but its only been 2 days since i set it up so it wouldnt really matter)

Personally I’d go with the sponge filter. The other in my opinion creates to high of a flow especially for bettas.
I have one similar to the one in the last slide and the pressure is way too high I really need to replace it
