I recently bought this tank off Facebook marketplace. It’s a 7 gallon cube. I’m wondering if it’s too crowded for a betta, I know people say no such thing but I’m on the fence! I’ve thinned out some plants that were in there already.

yes a betta would be super happy!! that piece of driftwood is SO pretty, looks like a real tree <3
My only consideration for a Betta would be to get a lid of some sort. If there’s one there I apologise I just can’t see it from this angle. Some of them enjoy jumping, so I’d always recommend just in case.
Something with big fins would love that tank. Something like a plakat would prefer a bigger rectangle, but would still live a happy life there
