Is this flow too strong for my new Crown Tail?
He is named Scarlet (10 year old Pokemon fan named him)
The plant below it doesnt move, so hoping this is okay?

Too strong, it will damage betta’s fin, thats why it can’t swim and hiding. Please put it on minimum.

If this is the 5 gal kit from petsmart you can twist the little knob on the top to lessen the flow. However I believe that filter is for up to ten gallons. I have one of those tank kits and I switched the filter with a small nicrew filter off Amazon and it works just as fine with less flow!

Just use a piece of filter floss or a course sponge to slow the flow. Super easy, just droop it over output
