Is this safe for a betta and will the shrimp be okay it's a 15g tank n is 60 a good price for this setup

  1. Having a betta w shrimp is hit or miss, definitely helpful if the shrimp have established their territory before adding the betta. But they may not make it anyway

  2. Depends on the betta honestly. Some couldn’t care less about others in their tank but they are territorial so there’s really no telling until you try

  3. Sounds like Ghost shrimp and cherry shrimp? It looks like it would be good, but I’d be worried about the filter flow being too strong for a betta and you’d need a lid.

    I paid $50 for my 20 gallon so see if you can get the guy down to about that since it *is* a set up tank. Maybe even $55 instead of $60.

    “Would $50 or $55 be okay?” They’ll likely choose $55 but it’s still $5 cheaper if they agree to it.

  4. I was gonna do this but then my seller tested my betta Roscoe in a tank with some neocaridina—and he immediately went into hunting mode. He’s a spirited guy though. But if you can’t trial it, you won’t know beforehand.
