Betta Fish: UPDATE: White Elephant Betta

Hey everyone, good evening!!

I just wanted to update this subreddit as a pat on the back to myself and a major thank you to everyone who helped me when I first posted!

My little spitfire Alejandro is still thriving, and I'm preparing him a new 20 gallon home!! I've gotten the heater, sponge filter, and all new plants cycling right now…I've been testing the water almost every day to see when the levels will be perfect to add him in.

I'm also hoping to add some snails, shrimp, and ember tetras, if he'll allow it, he's so curious and all up in my business, I'm hoping that giving him something else to watch will keep him occupied while I'm at work 😂

If anyone has any plant advice, (or things they notice in general) let me know, I currently have aquasoil capped with sand and gravel, plenty of wood, almond leaves, and a variety of plants for tannins…man!! How does anyone have the patience to allow everything to cycle? 😂😂😂
