I keep finding the snails in my tank. I assume I didn't rinse out one of the plants well enough. They're tiny and I've been plucking them out as I see them.
I'm not sure if they're beneficial and to leave be or if they pose a threat to my betta Chad. Though I will say it was fascinating to see Chad fight one of these yesterday. Though the situation quickly became heartwarming after he managed to knock the snail off the glass and he immediately swam over to me and did his happy wiggle that he won battle (he's such a good boy <3)
Anyways what do yall do with these snails when they pop up in your tanks?

They’re not harmful or a threat to your Betta. They’ll help clean up the tank. They only overpopulate if there’s too much to eat in the tank. I purposefully put them in my tanks
Always do a alum dip on live plants to remove snails and eggs
I’ve never minded snails, myself. Like others have said they don’t overpopulate unless there’s spare food for them to take in, and they keep the glass nice and clean on the inside!
Get an assasin snail and leave the snails be, it will be good for your aquarium
a bladder snail!! i had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago! they do reproduce very fast but they are beneficial to the tank!!
