Betta Fish: Chili Pepper is indeed spicy… but only with his Ramshorn Snails!

I can't even get Chili Pepper to flare with a mirror, and he ignores the pygmy corys and shrimp he shares his tank with, but about once a week I catch him beefing with a ramshorn snail who has the audacity to be Present 😂

(Side note: I've been feeding him in his own floating container while I feed the pygmy corys and shrimp – the only way I can prevent him from eating literally anything I try to feed including blanched veggies – but last night he managed to find some leftovers after I let him out of jail, hence the fat belly – couple fasting days ahead!)
