I’ve had Denison barbs with my Rainbowfish for some time, but whenever on the hunt for the Golden variants, the prices were often double that of the standard variant. I happened across some young Denisons in a local shop, and “took a punt” on three awkward looking / discoloured fish in the hope that they would grow and if nothing else would be “oddballs” in the tank. Just look at how they have changed, and the colours are now starting to pop, and they really stand out in a planted tank.
Really happy with these, but wanted to post to highlight to anyone else that might be on the look out for these variants.
