I thought these were supposed to have holes to thread line through ?
I’ve never used these, but I found some in my dad’s old tackle box. Is there another way you’re supposed to tie these ? Also, I’m not sure what these are called

Poke a hole in it

It’s called a ball head jig. The paint just covered the hole. Grab another one and poke through the hole with the hook. Don’t out your finger behind the eyelet.

Use another hook to poke a hole.
It’s a curly tail jig

The eye is painted over, some jig heads come without the paint over the eye but many will still have it on.
You can buy a tool to punch/clip through the paint to remove it. Or in a pinch if you don’t have one, I’ve been known to use another hook to poke it out, just be careful not to stick yourself if doing this.

Use another to poke hole. This is 100 percent normal

Happens sometimes with cheaper quality jigheads. I keep a safety pin attached to my jacket to poke holes in them if I ever encounter one.
