It's one of the few places near by that provides a good opportunity to fly fish.

I can only stomach it in C and R season. Shoulder to shoulder is an understatement come April 1- late fall! Great place to practice your skills and the only place I’ve ever fished where the trout hit dry flys all day long in the winter.

As some one who visits the area of Bennet Springs 5-6 times a year, I can never catch a damn fish in the park. But I can catch rainbows and browns all day in the Niangua anywhere from .5 to 6 miles down stream.
