Hello! I’m getting my first betta in a long time and am getting ready to set my tank up and cycle it before I pick one out. I have moved since the last time I had a betta, and have very hard water (some of the worst in Minnesota). Is there anything I should do differently to set the tank up? I have water conditioner and a water testing kit ready, but was wondering if I should just purchase spring water to get the tank started.
