I know these long strokes spools have great line management but wanted to see what all think.

a little bit over spooled.

Overfilled spools have a tendency to self-correct.

maybe just a tiny bit. you want that upper-lip to have just the tiniest bit of space. youll know if you start thowing nests

Slightly.
As it sits now is fine-ish, but when casting some loops will pull off ahead of order and cause wind knots.
As well as the line won’t sit tight all the time and the general circumference will get bigger than if the line were to be tight.
Good news though is that you can fish it and just cut some off as knots form.

You really don’t want to exceed the bevel on the spool. However, depending on how tight you spooled it, a few casts with tension will be the true test. Might settle in nicely

Just a bit.
I’m trying to test whether Im as good a fisherman as I think I am – I’m guessing that potentially 15-20LB braid on what might be a 2000/2500 reel – is that right?
