Fished the surf hard today at different spots. Had luck on one perch ear morning at the second spot pictured. Lost a big one in the same area and after that, afternoon was dead. Any pointers for this area I was throwing a 2" motor oil grub on a 1/2oz carolina rig. I also tried wilrogers with no luck.

I just got back, went out a bit south of you, bite has definitely cooled, glad you still got into some fish 🙌🏼🌞
You try corral beach at all? Seen some guys there once. Not sure of the success rate
