The Shimano combo is the best bang for my buck setup in my arsenal. The SLX A rod is crazy light for $100 price tag. Weighs just under 100g and only a few grams heavier than the Expride. The SLX DC XT is a JDM reel I got from Japan Lure Store and felt like robbery at $165.
The Chatterbait setup is an absolute work horse. Cashion Icon is my favorite American made rod and pairs perfectly with the JDM Tatula SV TW 100. Great for Lipless cranks as well.
