I’m looking at a Minn Kota Endura or Endura Max, and a Newport Kayak series. Both in 55lbs and only looking at a transom mounted one. Does anyone have experience with both? I need advice on which one I should get and why. Thank you!

I’ve owned both and I like the Newport over the Endura, especially if you’re even considering saltwater or brackish. Personally I use to own nothing but Minn Kota, but they aren’t what they use to be with the budget models. I currently have the 55 Newport on my kayak and have had 0 problems with it.
