i just got up and noticed my betta seems bloated and i think pineconing. is there anything i can do?? he was completely fine yesterday. (i’ve checked the water parameters and they are completely fine)

Yes, that is pineconing/dropsy. I agree with Epsom salt baths. You could try treating with medicine in case it’s something internal, but it could make things better or worse. When you tested parameters did you also test ammonia? What do you mean by your parameters are “fine”? Your betta looks like a koi betta, they are unfortunately really prone to health issues and don’t tend to live a full lifespan because of inbreeding and genetic issues. If you provide us more information we could help more. Do your best for him!
This can’t be treated with epsom salt alone, you definitely need medication. I always wonder: for people suggesting epsom salt and not recommending (and explaining) different types of medical options… how many fish have you permanently recovered from dropsy without meds?
