Ice fishing season project finally wrapped up.
I built a DIY track sled to haul gear and sleds on the ice. First real fabrication project for me, learned a lot along the way, and it’s been working well so far.
Of course it is just in time for the warmest winter ever here in Montana!
This was quite the undertaking for me and ended up taking an entire year to complete. There are definitely some things I would do differently on a subsequent build, like using a better method for cutting the steel, but all in all feel pretty proud of what I was able to accomplish with my limited tools and experience.
Now hopefully we get some decent ice!
