Torn between getting a dedicated swim/glide rod and just throwing it on my current 7’ MH/F. Baits over 6” in my local waters aren’t always feasible so I can’t see wanting to throw anything greater than 2oz for now.
FWIW I’m eyeing the MH Beast from Abu as a dedicated glide rod that could also take the place of my Frog rod and also throw S-Wavers and Molix floaters. I just worry about the MF taper when ripping through roots and pads.

You can try but I don’t see a ton of crossover between frogs and treble hooked glides on any rod.
Ide be using my absolutely ancient 6’6″ eagle claw and Mitchell 300c, but I’m weird like that
