I love my (gf’s) Lew’s reel. 😂 Bought her a combo a few years back and she doesn’t use it as much as her ultralight so I started using it. No complaints about it!

They sometimes have them on clearance online too, I got a Pflueger President Spinning Reel on clearance for $30.00 online, because I never see those kinds of clearances in my local store.

Thats the prices those should be at. Diawa or Okuma are a good real but Ive never used those specific ones.

Okuma used to be awesome… I’ve found the ones with the plastic reels are absolute junk… I’m taking where you put your hand to reel, it eats into your fingers

It’s funny how you’ve purchased a reel or 2 and they broke (reel body cast/worm gear) rendering them both totally useless, and you swear you’ll never buy another Diawa.

My lews lzr came with the bail chrome/metal plating chipped and it frays braid. I’m a lews guy for the most part but that was pretty disappointing
