So little backstory
Daughter of almost 6 years saved up some money for a toy or something and found a triops breeding set, after 3 tries still no triops, how hard we tried(different water, different temperatures) so the next day I told her when we were going to school that maybe it were the wrong eggs or something when she was at school I went to the petstore and bought some of the cheapest shrimps i could find and put them in the place where the triops should be.
She took serious care of them and I thought that was very wholesome so I asked her if she wanted a real aquarium for her “triops” and ofcourse yes. So we got a 2nd hand aquarium and some new decoration, the shrimp are triving and have babies. And I think daughter and father have a new hobby.

I’d say she’s done a great job. Not many people do enough research or care enough to place live plants in their aquariums, so it’s always a breath of fresh air to see someone’s aquarium like your daughter’s.
Awesome! My daughter and I started a beta tank with live plants when she was six and now she’s eight. I’m in the process of boiling some wood and attaching moss as I type this. Super fun!
Design is cool and rather friendly to shrimp! Maybe unicorn could get checked if he eradicates paint into water (you can check it by taking it out and scrubbing to see if paint sheds), but otherwise the tank is fun and looks promising 🔥
