I just got this rod not even a week ago and the it broke it’s hanging on by a thread and I have a trip planned in 2 days idk if I should just warranty it and cancel my trip or take the L get it fixed and have a messed up rod

If you can get it fixed cheap and not cancel do that. Best bet would be buy a new rod and warranty. I wouldn’t cancel a fishing trip unless it is dangerous though.
What a strange place for a rod to break… I can’t say I’ve ever seen a blank break *in between the feet* of a guide. Definitely warranty this, there’s a good chance it could have been defective.
Don’t cancel your trip, use a different rod or buy a new one.

What broke? Looks like the clear coat wasn’t applied properly, if the blank isn’t affected it should fish fine

warranty it and just use a cheap replacement as backup
Warranty hard to see but looks the blank is cracked if so it would have to be cut down.
This looks like a rod that got shut in a door.
You only have one rod? This is why you need 12 rods 🤣…and thats just a half decent start!
