I don't understand what's wrong with it. I left for 3 days before new year's, fed him before leaving and when we came back he had white patches and torn fins.
Could be stress due to our family being absent, could be lower temp while we were away (21-23 C).
I looked up, thought it's finrot so i isolated him and used Sera Baktopur according to instruction. It seemed to ger better, i put it back with the rest.
But now it stripes are back, even though he acts like always – curious, hungry and swimming around. He even managed to make a bubble nest (before i messed it up while cleaning gravel).
It's a 57L tank, has 6 neons and bristlenose ppleco. Water parameters seem okay, very low nitrates yesterday before 10L water change, 0 nitrites and 0 ammony. After NY i got heater, it's set to 26 C.
Any ideas what it could be? I could try another round of baktopur.

Forgot to add: it was all blue before NY.
He may just have a blue marbling gene, it’s very normal for bettas to change colors. As for the fins, tetras are very well known for fin nipping, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what caused it
