Those FX’s are nothing special, but when you turn the handle, line comes in. Drag works. That’s pretty much all you need a reel to do. Definitely pick them up at that price.

For 13 bucks, it’s worth it if you need a spare reel in that size. But as many others have said, that series is nothing special, fine for casual fishing, or a knockaround set up that you lend to friends or leave in the truck.

That’s a nice find. Rods and reels have not been marked down extensively by me. I went to two stores, reels were either full price or picked clean

I’d take that deal! A decent reel for $10 and $13 will catch fish.
Good deal, I’d buy both of em. They aren’t their top of the line models or anything but they are good entry level reels.
