Any way I can use fishing stringers other than for keeping fish? I just catch and release so looking for another way I could use it for fishing, google was less than helpful. Any thoughts?

I keep em and use em as rope whenever I need, not a lot but a good 4-5 times a year I find myself needing rope. Just cut a section off to measure a fish later cuz I forgot my tape too. Many uses ya never know

If you have an abundance of stringers that you are not using; (this will sound strange) talk to any local running clubs. In organized meets some of them (a lot have gone to RFID scoring to be honest) would tear a tab off your runner registration number “bib” and then thread it on a fishing stringer when you cross the finish line. Then they know the order of folks crossing the finish line.
