Hi, my LFS has a few new baby Betta fish and they don’t know what kind they are. Does he look like a baby crown tail? Or veil tail? They also don’t know how old they are but they have had them for 2 months. Would love to hear what people think.

Definitely not a crowntail. His spiky fins would be much closer to the base. Probably a halfmoon but possibly a double tail. Either his fin has a crease in it and it will go away as he grows or he may be a double tail. Give him time to adjust to the tank and grow, his fins should heal up and grow in
