Upgraded my Mbuna cichlids to a 55 gallon today – they were in a 39 gallon but I wanted to give them more space and want to introduce some more fish to the tank before they grow out too much. Sand and filter seeded from the old tank, plus some fresh Purigen and more hidey holes. The visible heater is just to help get the whole tank up to temp, and I'm going to plant more bamboo to hopefully hide the filter hoses once the wife gives me her blessings to disturb her plants more.
So far they seem to really love the corner they were acclimated in, and hopefully they go explore before it's time for lights out.
