I just ordered the prior model Fenwick HMG online, which is my first Fenwick. There is glue on the reel seat and the guides are somewhat out of line (see pics). I’m aware I’m being extremely critical here and this in no way affects the rod’s performance, but I’m a little disappointed given how much praise Fenwick gets. My much cheaper Berkley Lightning Rod has the same imperfections. Is this worthy of returning or am I just overthinking it?
