I did a lot of research and finally decided to create a snow-capped mountain landscape in my fish tank. I bought some white substrate and rocks, and the final result looks great! I'd like to ask what kind of fish would be suitable for this tank, as I don't know much about fish.

  1. This might be overkill but soaking those seiryu rocks in Muriatic acid darkens those rocks if you are interested for high contrast. As for fish I would recommend Pygmy corydoras 7-12 and school of chili rasboras 7-12 (I have this in one of my tank it’s awesome) or maybe a breeding pair killifish or Medaka ricefish. You can add shrimps or snails depending on what you put in there

  2. 10 gallons I assume? I think a group of 10 or so chili rasboras would look great and maybe a pair of sparkling gouramis.

  3. Maybe some kind of betta? The splash of color against the cold ice. Thai micro crabs might also be fun to watch climb the mountain, though as I understand you want to age the tank a fair bit first.
