So I got home from practice-and was looking at my fish tank with my sister when we saw these little worm things-After some research I’m hoping they are detritus worms but I’m not sure. They’re mostly white with brown and are either staying on the glass or swimming. They have round heads with arm looking things almost like insect larvae. They’re extremely quick-and there’s also like little dots (like eggs or larvae everywhere).
I believe a bit of excess food and the Indian Almond lead leaf and stick and pinecone I added for tannins recently are to blame. (I just rinsed them instead of boiling thinking it’d be fine :/) Will water changes and a gravel vac be sufficient to get rid of them or do I need a product? I’m hoping my guy will be able to eat them as well.

detritus worms don’t swim like that, they squiggle to swim. do they appear to have an arrow shaped head or any head at all?
