Aquariums: Guys help, what is wrong with my little friend
My Sumatra barb is suddenly swimming really strangely; all the other fish are acting normally, only he's doing something odd. He's swimming straight the whole time, but with his mouth pointing downwards.

Possibly swim bladder issues, is he the most aggressive eater?
Google search offers plenty of good remedies, might have to isolate though to ensure no more overeating.

Ignore the standard Reddit swim bladder diagnosis, this “issue” has been brought up here several times and this is quite normal for tiger barbs to swim this way.

I just got tiger barbs and a few do this. According to the internet it is because the are voracious feeders and gulp too much air. Apparently increasing the temp helps improve digestion or you can feed them sinking pellets to avoid air gulping. Ive had mine about a month and they are no worse.
