my girlfriend and I are starting a new tank, I have some experience with bettas but still rather novice. here’s our tank so far, been cycling for about 4 day. looking for suggestions about water levels and flow, any general recommendations are also appreciated!

The lucky bamboo cannot grow submerged
I did hear bamboo will rot underwater fully submerged. Think its meant to stick out the water a bit on top to prevent this. Someone correct me if im wrong. I havent played around with bamboo sticks before but see them often on here.
Bettas like tall leafy plants that they can swim through and hide in. You will also need resting spots near the top. I also recommend getting an air stone or sponge filter. You should also get some type of hideout.
