Betta Fish: Why did my betta arrive brown? (The first image is how it is, and the second is how it arrived)
I know it's probably stress. How can I make them more comfortable? I'll send a picture of them in their aquarium in a little while.

Totally normal. Once they settle in, the colors start to come out better.

Sometimes when im around someone new, or im stressed, I have trouble performing at my peak. But it gets better as I get more comfortable

poor guy had a rough transit – they can IMMEDIATELY start losing color when stressed. I made the mistake of putting my betta in a cup when I went to put some new decor in and she lost her color almost instantly until she was back in her tank and it came back working a hour or so
