I have a native species tank for northern Ohio and have two 6-8" stone cats as residents. the only issue is, every week or so I lose a minnow and he is nowhere to be found, I suspect them to be the culprit.

is there anything you guys feed your mad toms to keep them full so they aren't eating other tank residents?

please let me know if you have any suggestions to stop them 😆

disregard the poor photo, hard to see them anytime other than water change

  1. A general rule that applies to almost all fish: if it can fit in their mouth, they’re gonna eat it. And catfish are known to be big gluttons. I don’t think there’s any amount you can feed them that’ll completely stop them from eating their tankmates.
