Can anyone help ID this? Several of what looks like a sort of larvae showed up in my tank.
It has a brown pod from which it emerges from either end. Which actually made me think it was a snail with a parasite until I saw it was a sort of husk instead of. A shell which was being dragged.
Segmented green body which resembles a caterpillar.
Seems to be eating my guppy grass VERY quickly.
My guppy’s aren’t eating them from what I’ve seen- as they are fairly large compared to the guppies.

I have no idea but it does look like an insect larvae. I’d start searching using your best succinct description of what it looks like.
