Nagging? Nah. A friendly, and well drawn, reminder. I have sugar gliders and in that community it is common to put signs on toilet seats to remind people to put the lid down. (Gliders can’t swim.)

  2. This is hilarious. I love it. Definitely put it up. But also if overfeeding by guest is a concern, I recommend hiding and/or locking up your food.

  3. i dont think it’s nagging and your illustration is so cute! if it’s meant for drunk people, I might consider using red marker and spelling out “do NOT feed”

The drawing is super cute OP! I especially love his face, you absolutely nailed the pouty look that bettas have 😂

  5. It definitely happens. My dad had a fish tank in his office and people kept putting food in it because they assumed the fish were never fed. Eventually he got an auto feeder and took away the food container because they kept polluting the water by overfeeding and killing the fish.

  6. Well-meaning people overfeed fish all the time. The sign is helpful and hilarious. I love it.

I remember this awesome post someone put up of a sign warning that their cat was an asshole who knocked drinks off the tables with a great little illustration. This reminded me of that

Animorphs reference AND charmingly stylized betta [with correct labeling]??????? Frame this and put it in the Louvre 😗👌

    Things have happened here.

    — my first thought (that and laughing lol)

I would never just randomly feed someone’s fish. Like wtf? I think you should also have a direct conversation about it when everyone is sober. Lock up all food and maybe make sure they can’t open the lid if possible?
People do stupid shit when they are drunk and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, ESPECIALLY when it comes to beloved pets!
