Bought this reel amongst a bunch of old garbage fishing tackle for $30 the other day off Facebook marketplace. I know this isn't the newest model of the Battenkill, just wondering if anyone knows what years this model was made? Also any suggestions for a budget 3 or 4 wt?

I recently tried to ID one of my battenkills, I was surprised that there’s no website showing each generation.
Put that on a new Clearwater rod and send it. Can’t beat the orvis warranty on the Clearwater for the price. I’d throw some new line on it just to be safe.
I love those little double sided tackle boxes. I got three of them stuffed with panther Martins and single hook rooster tails for $10 a box at my local pawn shop several months back.
