Found in Florida. Diawa Heartland X spin/fly rod that can be extended from 8’6 to 8’6. Can’t find much info online about these. Beast of a rod, would like to know if there’s any known reason someone would want to switch between those 2 lengths when fishing flies or light lures (1/8-3/8oz). Maybe for jigging crappie? I was thinking maybe it would be a cool rod to switch between standard fly and then extend it for euro techniques but it has a handle that’s long enough that it makes me wonder if it’s something that could have been used for Spey. Any info or insight appreciated.
