Planning on putting a beta in this after it cycles for a couple of weeks. Any suggestions on what else i should add? This is my first tank ever. I’m proud of how it looks so far. ( it’s a 20 gallon!)

I love the little gravel path in the middle!
I’m a new betta fish owner but I think a couple nerite snails would be great in the future to help with algae. They’re betta-friendly tankmates.
Looks great. Bettas can be temperamental and they all have different personalities.
The best bet are small fish that don’t hang out in the same parts of the tank. Kuhli loaches stay near the bottom. Otos will hang out on the glass, plants and hardscape. Pygmy corys do swim in the middle of the water column but spend most of there time near the bottom. The added benefit is that they will clean up.
Small tetras and rasboras can work too if you want color but could be challenging depending on the betta
