We brought him home the other day and we’ve been trying to figure it out. He’s a bit of a bigger guy and has a pale pink/ kind of whitish body that turns light blue when the light reflects on it and almost gives him a cotton candy kinda look. his fins are the same too. I’ve just never really seen another beta with this colour pattern and it’s had me stumped.

I think these are technically called cellophane or transparent bettas but most cellophane bettas wont stay like that and will eventually develop marbling colors
The color (or lack thereof) is often called cellophane 🙂
He looks like a Halfmoon Cellophane Betta.
