so I recently upgraded my aquarium to a 75 gallon from a 36 gallon and I just got home from work after having it for 3 days and I feel like the floor has a raise area in the middle of my apartment. Iâm on ground floor with a crawl space underneath. Should I be worried? I put it up against a load-bearing wall. Is it just too heavy? What should I do. Could any catastrophic damage happen if I donât do something about it and how risky is it to do nothing. Any advice would be appreciated Iâll include some photos.

Floors can hold an ass ton more weight than that fish tank. 75 gallons of water is around 600lbs alone, but still, your floor is designed to hold thousands and thousands of pounds.
Hard to tell from the picsÂ
You have a crawlspace under well it’s time to take a look down there and adjust accordinglyÂ
Also looks like carpet anything under a inch could just be compressed padding or things hidden under the carpetÂ
One thing I plan in the future is to put my tank on the foundation directly and flooring around it because most modern floors have padding much better to walk on but horrible for static loadsÂ
