I wasn’t sure where to ask and I’ve done my research— i just need some inputs and recommendation.
So I got a fluvial 107. Purchase less than a year. U see I didn’t really see anything wrong with it until I notice it stopped working. There was no sound or vibration and not vacuum at all. So I checked if there might have been aquatic plants that might have clogged the tubes so I cleaned it but so far nothing. Also the trued cleaning the impeller turned it on and it didn’t spin. My concern is would u think it’s worth having to pay to have this fixed or is this filter good as dead??
This filter and aquarium together with the fishes were given to me months ago so I barely don’t have a lot of knowledge about the filter.

With power off – if you pump grey lever (left) does water flow? That’ll confirm if pipes, intake or output are blocked. Middle grey lever raise by 25 degrees – that’ll adjust the flow speed. You’ve got it on full flow at the minute.
Mine has done this when the pre filter sponge on my intake was blocked. No flow, no noise.
If they’re all clear then, like you, I’d feel the filter is dead.
…and assume you normally have the grey side clips locked?
Also use the primer, if you ran it dry it will die pretty quick.
