Went to the pet store a couple weeks ago to get some things for my cats. My friend pointed out that they had dates written on the tops of the betta; this guy had been stuck in a cup for over 5 months. There was no way I could leave him there.
He graced me with a photoshoot tonight. I didn’t think to take “before” picks of his glow-up; but seeing him with all his fins flying and feelin’ cute makes me so happy. It’s like a whole new fish.
And fear not; I’m going to be switching all the plastic decor for live plants.
