I would like to start off by saying I actually did not intend to make a Betta sorority, since I heard that it doesn't go well. I have a long shallow tank where I keep a (supposedly female) Betta. My neighbor had a Betta sorority, and her tank broke, and all that lived were two (supposedly female) Bettas, and she asked if she could put her fish in my tank until she got a new one, since both of us were minimalist and doesn't have other containers on hand. I agreed, since my tank has lots of plants and driftwood and hiding spots and tannis I think just keeping them for a few days couldn't hurt.
Well, shortly after they were introduced into my tank, I noticed a bubble nest. I heard that female Bettas too sometimes build nests, so I didn't think much about it. Today I came home and saw this.
Were these eggs?? Was one of the supposedly female Bettas actually a male??? What do I do right now? There's too much decoration in the tank and if I want to remove the other fish I would have to move the decor first and I'm afraid it would destroy the bubble nest and harm the eggs.

Hey! Never had this happen to me, but I heard female Bettas can lay eggs and put them in bubble nests they made on their own, they might be getting freaky hehe but no man to do it with đ
Yes female bettas laz eggs but then they normally eat them, because they smell that they are not fertile ….does the “female” betta guard the eggs
