I have a 2 months old 90L (20gal) tank.

1: When can I introduce Otocinclus? Has the algae built up enough at this point to keep them happy? I will also be feeding them wafers/courgette (Or zucchini as you people from people overseas say)

2: How long until Driftwood sinks? I bought 3 pieces, boiled them for one hour, and submerged them for 2 weeks. Only 1 piece will stay down. The other 2 pieces are either wedged (far left) or weighed down with a rock lol.

I'd still class myself as a beginner, I previously had a 30L tank with Danios for 3 years and this is their new home.

Current lineup as follows:
– X7 Glowlight Danios
– X5 Leopard Danios
– X1 Gold Zebra Danio
– X6 Celestial Pearl Danios
– X1 Pearl Danio

– X4 Kuhli Loach

Total : x24

  1. You’ve definitely got the algae.

It depends on the type and size of wood, but if you want the appearance of it I’d just adhere a rock under it and bury the rock in the substrate
