I got this taxidermy and although I am an avid trout fisher I am having hard time distinguishing if this is a male or female brown, i’m leaning male but i’m not confident

Males develop a kype during mating season. A kype is the elongated hooked jaws.

Male but the head looks like it’s possibly a reproduction so there’s a chance the original fish was female and the taxidermist stuck a male head on.
