

It's been a bit since I had a betta (moving and college) but I set up the tank after the move and figured it was time to put something in it!
He's literally just a little guy, probably pretty young I'd guess, and blue and yellow so ofc he got a Swedish name (mom's suggestion lol). He's got a filter, a heater plus thermometer, a cave, a leaf, and a little schoolhouse (I'm a student teacher rn). I have to find a air pump that isn't meant for a huge tank, so that's the next thing asap

I’d recommend getting some live plants for him. I’d feel weird swimming around with only artificial plants. My boy Cosmo loves to swim between the leaves of all his plants

Get frogbit or duckweed! It’s sooo easy to grow and is a one time purchase then you have it forever. Bettas love them
