I had a problem with my filters forever that I could not figure out. If the flow was too high, it would create turbulence in the intake chamber and splash over the wall, leaking onto the floor. I limited my flow with mesh aluminum filter intakes and kept the slider at the lowest setting to prevent this. Today I’m randomly reading and find a thread talking about how they need to be level/tilted forward slightly. I know mine are not, so I go to try it. Take the covers off, rinse out my sponges just for good measure, and it doesn’t splash over. I hope this can help someone else who may have the same issue and overlooked this.

TLDR – Make sure your aquaclear filters are level/tilted forward slightly so they don’t leak
